Writing: The Artist

I found a very unique writing i did which was part of a two piece observation piece. Me the Writer, her the Artist we both depicted what we seen throught our own outlets and the outcome was dope to me!
Enjoy~:
The Artist

Engulfed in her Work, she carefully molds the white paper into a caption of her day. Studying every dimension of her specimen, leaving no detail lost.

On-lookers grasp in amazement, but she doesn't notice.
To her she stands alone in the Gallery of her mind observing art as the canvas paints itself.

But in reality she sits on a bench in a semi-crowded park in the middle of downtown. As five o'clock traffic commuters honk horns as if it helps get home faster, the hound tied to the tree barks at every passing jogger, and the b-boys boom box blasts as they execute head spins.

But some how she tunes it all out and only hears the colors & contours of life's art.

*the sketch was done with charcoal and the mouth rubbed off but check out alot more of the artist amazing work HERE*
